Autumn Reflection

this castle in the middle of Rivierenhof park was built in 1777.

At this time of year it is surrounded by a warm pallet of autumn colors.

On a blue sky day like this one,

the castle casts a lovely reflection on the big pond.

A sea of Poppies

The tower of London’s moat is filled with poppies these days

for the ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’ installation.

Each of them representing a fallen British soldier during world war one.
